Daily Creates 3: Image

Prompt 1: You in a weird place

For this prompt there were different photo options for me to choose from. Once I selected one I took a photo of my face and it inserted it into the picture. Maybe the sunflower will brighten your day 😉

Prompt 2:

A dozen of anything except eggs:

For this prompt I used 12 strawberries

Prompt 3:

Colour!

For this prompt, participants were guided to select a photo and lay a color over top. I decided to use the previous strawberry photo and layer a magenta color over top.

Prompt 4: Lets all take a second to appreciate the beauty of nature.

This prompt guided me to take a picture of a sunset or pretty moment in nature. I took this photo when I was getting off of work on Wednesday. I really loved the colors in the sky and how they reflected on the calm water.

Overall, I really enjoyed the image daily creates this week. I think they challenged my view on perspectives even some of the prompts I read and didn’t chose to complete changed the way I viewed my surroundings. These prompts are some that I would consider using in my future classrooms for students as I think it would be really cool to have students look at the classroom from different perspectives and see how they can create new art.
