Daily Creates Week 1: Text
Prompt 1:
In the first selected prompt, It said to spin both the wheels and create a story or art piece to go with whatever mix of mythical creatures was selected. During my randomized spin, I got both a platypus and snowy owl. I then mashed them together to create my drawing.

Prompt 2:
In the next prompt, I was directed to select one of the silly animal photos and write a brief story explaining the backstory of the image. I selected the meercat image:

This meercat is named Pebbles. He is going to school to be marine biologist. Pebbles just learned that his class is having a pop quiz in two minutes.
Prompt 3:
For the next prompt, I decided to try out the alphabet story. Each line had to start with the next letter of the alphabet.
A little elephant went to the market.
Before she left she had to bring her basket.
Could she have gone to the market without it?
Don’t forget to pick up pickles yelled her mother.
Ellie got in trouble for forgetting pickles last time she went to the market.
Funny because an elephant never forgets.
Grandma Mary was at the market today.
“How are you Grandma?” said Ellie
“I am FANTASTIC” replied Grandma Mary.
“Just don’t forget the pickles for your mother” yelled grandma Mary as Ellie walked away
“Keep the change” Ellie said to the farmer when purchasing some carrots.
Lemonade is what Ellie really wanted to buy next.
My mother LOVES lemonade, Ellie thought to herself.
Next time I go to the market I will buy some lemonade for her and Grandma Mary but I should head home now it is getting late Ellie thought to herself.
OH NO, I forgot the pickles again.
Pickles, pickles, pickles… I had one job, Ellie thought to herself as she walked through the front door.
Question mom, what would you say if I forgot the pickles again?
Really Ellie? said her mother
Silly girl.
Thankfully your Grandma Mary brought some just before you got here.
I wanted to complete this challenge without looking up any words. I would say I was fairly successful with this, however I got stumped when I reached the letter “U”.
Summary:
Overall, this week my goal was to complete three activities and learn my way around the Daily Creates site and try new things when it came to uploading my finding on the blog. I would say this was fairly successful as I was a little nervous to start but realized I was just putting to much pressure on myself. When I took a step back and let go a little bit, I really started to enjoy each of the prompts and had fun completing them. I also was able to become more confident in my abilities to use the WordPress site and creating my own blogs.
