About Me

Hello, my name is Katie and I just finished my second year in the elementary education program at UVIC. I grew up in northern B.C. but moved to the island in grade nine. I spend most of my free time outside. I love the beach, running, and hiking. A year ago, I ran my first marathon and I am looking into training for some half marathons in the upcoming year. When it comes to school, I usually lean more towards social sciences, english, and art. I have been told my tech skills are not the best, but I look forward to learning more about this course and how I can apply interactive and multimedia learning into my future classrooms!
